Enlightened Body Work

is a co-creative and integrative form of treatment that presents opportunities for healing and prevention at all levels of our being – physical, emotional, mental (and spiritual). It can be a synthesis of approaches applied in non-invasive, non-prescriptive ways that “listen and respond” to the body.

There are many modalities to choose from today. I use: Swedish Massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Ortho-Bionomy, and Esoteric Healing, a form of energy work.  Modalities are but tools. It isn’t the hammer that builds the house, but the person holding the hammer. The effectiveness of a modality depends on the skill of its application, and the relationship between the therapist and the client. If there is trust, love, and empathy, there will be a ‘dynamic’ that helps set the stage for a therapeutic change. When intent is clear and both parties are able to “get out of their own way,” this positive ‘dynamic’ is created. Then, a new template for health and healing begins within a person.
